Dr. Dre & Snoop Are Using Holographic Technology to Reanimate Tupac, & Nate Dogg for Coachella

According to a few sources Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg are bringing back to life some special guests at this weekend’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival: The late G-funk legend Nate Dogg, and rapper Tupac Shakur, who was gunned down in 1996, will also be resurrected by using holographic technology to bring their deceased collaborator back from the dead.

Joining them will be plenty of surprise guests like Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, and Nate Dogg’s partner in regulation, Warren G.

YouTube is streaming Coachella concerts live for the second year in a row. You can learn more about that here.

Last year, one of the more entertaining events across the world was Coachella which was ended by an incredible 2 hour long set by Kanye West. Well this year is set to be even bigger as long time best friends and legendary Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg are set to headline the event which will take place in California starting on April 13th. Along with the two legends, artists such as The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar and many more will be in attendance

3. Young Jeezy – TM103: Hustlerz Ambition – 233,000 - Given all the jokes and doubt he’s had to endure for damn near the past two years, salute to Jeezy for putting up first week #’s like this. “Supafreak” deserves a top notch NSFW video pronto.

5. Drake – Take Care – 131,000 - Aaliyah tattoo and all, Drizzy’s still selling like mad.

7. Rihanna – Talk That Talk – 99,000 - And just like that, she’ll be 500K down next week. Consistency kills.

17. Common – The Dreamer, The Believer  - 69,000 - I expected this to sell more, especially given the seemingly millions of people who claim to be fans of Com. Regardless, it’s still a pretty good number given the fact he doesn’t have the strongest TV/radio support in the world.

22. Lil Wayne – Tha Carter IV – 56,000 - Guess who’s knocking on the door of double platinum? For what it’s worth, “Blunt Blowin’” and “Megaman” were quality records.

7. Drake – Take Care – 77,000 - Here’s news that was actually news earlier this week. Drake’s platinum. Completely off topic though, I’d like to see him drop a “9 A.M. In Dallas” type track to address all the hoopla that’s going on now.

9. Rihanna – Talk That Talk – 54,000 - Like I’ve said before, she’ll just keep her sales consistent. She should be gold at some point in January.

23. Mary J. Blige – My Life II: The Journey Continues – 39,000 - That “Mr. Wrong” track is picking up steam. At the right time, too. Trust me, they’ll be some group of single females singing that song as the ball drops in a few weeks.

26. Snoop Dogg & Wiz Khalifa – Mac & Devin Go To High School – 38,000 - I didn’t expect this to break the charts mainly because the promotion for this wasn’t exactly intense. That being said, this album isn’t bad. Check it out since you’re about to have a long weekend coming up.

Word around town is Wiz and Snoop’s Mac & Devin Go To High School soundtrack has already found its way to the world wide webs. Just by looking at the track list, one of the more anticipated offerings from jump street was the Curren$y featured, Alchemist produced number “OG.” Of course, with these three, it’s already catered to the demographic out there who don’t have to worry about random drug tests at work. All four of the songs creators (Alc included) show up and show out for a song that’ll command quite a few listens and should be the theme song to cyphers this winter.
