One of the world’s highest selling artist ever, Mariah Carey dropped this week with the snippet of a new record called  “Almost Home”. Though this is a song from the new American Idol host, it serves as one of the cuts from the soundtrack to the new movie “Oz: The Great And Powerful”. When Mariah isn’t deeply tucked away in a camera lens at Fox, she still has time to hit the studio and knock out sample like this. Kanye West released a minute-long snippet of his featured track on Man with the Iron Fists, a film directed by Wu-Tang‘s the RZA and Quentin Tarantino. Bobby Digital [aka RZA] also had a hand in the production of the soundtrack to the film, with a little help from Yeezy on this single. Be on the look out for the soundtrack hitting stores October 23rd, followed by the film in theaters November 6th. Looks like Ye is trying to line up the Cruel Summer, Fall and Winter for us and we can’t say we’re too upset about it! After hearing the first leak by Method Man, Freddie Gibbs and Streetlife, “Built For This,” for RZA‘s “The Man With The Iron Fists” movie the next leak from RZA’s soundtrack, we got Pusha T who cooked something up with Rakewon and Slaughterhouses Joell Ortiz the song is titled “Tick, Tock.” The tracked was produced by Frank Dukes & S1 so it’s only a matter of time before October 23rd comes along that’s when some real music will hit the streets off the movies official soundtrack. Also be on the look out for the movie it hits theaters November 2nd.
