The first point to hit upon in most recent news, simply to ease the thoughts of wondering minds; when you are a multimillionaire, you are more than eligible to tattoo any area on your body with no worries at all. Rapper & YMCMB president Birdman is continuing to do the unthinkable when it comes to inking up his already tatted body. “5 Star like baby’s bald head” goes the phrase… and today Birdman has added another tattoo to the face collection. Along side that big infamous red star, Birdman has tattooed the logo’s of the brands YMCMB has been  fortunate enough to found create. In the photo you will see the words “GTV” which is a very proactively delicious vodka started by the rapper…as well as the stamp “Trukfit” started by Lil Wayne and worn be every rapper existing …ever…in the world! The Game took to Instagram to show off his new ink. He went to visit tattoo artist Peter Koskela as he covered up the rappers previous tat “Stretch” to the new ink of “Compton” across his stomach. “The stomach gotta be the most fu**ed up place to get tatted but I thugged it out.” – The Game

Seeing as things got a little crazy last night, Rob Kardashian and Rita Ora decided to show how real their love is by getting opposite name tattoo’s across their fingers. Rob took to twitter and posted the above photo with the following caption, “Shit got crazy tonight… What can I say… #tatmynameonya”. Rob and Rita been dating since late last year after they were introduced by a mutual friend. No word yet if the tats are actually permanent, it looks as if Rob’s tattoo is already starting to fade.

In recent web gossip news, YMCMB‘s Tyga caused an uproar on Twitter when sending out a photo of his latest tat. The Mike Tyson-inspired ink job displayed on the “Rack City” rapper’s face incited an internet debate among his many fans on whether or not the tattoo was real. Apparently a Tyga sighting at Universal Studios earlier in the day included no such ink. Hit the jump for the photo Tyga shared to decide for yourselves. Right when you thought tattoo’s couldn’t get anymore “real,” Yelawolf one up’s everybody, tatting a portait of Johnny Cash and his wife June Carter on the right side of his head. But he didn’t stop there, in consideration of his current girlfriend Fefe Dobson, Yela had the tattoo artist add “Fefe” on Johnny’s arm. Yesterday, sultry, political, and social neo-soulstress Erykah Badu made headlines when authorities in Malaysia banned her from performing in the scheduled Kuala Lumpur concert.  Fans, outraged, took to Twitter and other outlets to express their disgruntled reaction to those who disapproved of Badu’s appearance.

In all fairness, it’s been reported that the Malaysian Newspaper, The Star, printed the above photo of Badu without realizing the ramifications of the tattooed words on her body; one of which translates to “Allah.”  In Muslim culture, tattoos of such name-sake magnitude are not deemed as kosher, especially given the location–nearest the bare shoulders.

The tattoo was seen as offensive and an “insult to Islam” as one Malaysian reporter put it.  Created as a promotional ad,  the sensitivity of this subject was simply mistakenly overlooked.  The Star has since apologized for the mishap, and now, Erykah Badu has stated her peace as well:

My fav film maker is @alejodorowsky. He made a movie called The holy mountain in the 70s. 1 of his characters is called the painted lady … She wore all symbols and names of God on her body. I posed as her in a photo shoot for New Am pt2. This idea embodies who we ALL are.. One … This photo was chosen & edited by the promoters here in Malaysia. They were very responsible to the people and it’s Muslim beliefs … One particular paper retrieved am unedited photo and printed it along with its article.. This is where the upset began …The gov. Of Malaysia had to be responsible to its people’s beliefs .. Even If it were just 1 or 2 complaints. I understand. It’s an election year … Keep in mind.

Simple and Respectable.  I’d say she put an end to all the media frenzy.  What’s your thoughts on the situation?  Could it had been handled better or averted all together?

If you recall about a month ago, a die hard Drake fan tatted the rapper’s name on her forehead. “So he knew it was real.” Once Drizzy found out the tattoo was real and words were exchanged between Drake and the tattoo artist Kevin Campbell. But yesterday, Drake stopped by the shop to squash the issue with the tattoo artist. Kevin took to twitter to confirm the beef was squashed.

Caught up in all the hype around Chris Brown announcing to the world he wouldn’t be taking part in any interviews in 2012. We lost sight on Chris Brown’s artistic side dealing with his tats. With the constant subliminal tweets between Breezy and RiRi, as well as, Chris Brown’ girlfriend Karrueche taking shots at Rihanna via Twitter. It was only a matter of time before Chris Brown would have to show Karrueche “It was Real.” So Breezy got his girlfriends face tatted on his upper arm near his elbow.The tattoo is a replica of a photo shoot image of Karrueche with a war-painted face and tousled wet hair slightly covering her face.
