After proclaiming his love for Canada earlier via his Twitter, news comes in from Toronto concert goers that 3 gunshots were fired at tonights Young Jeezy concert. Scheduled to perform at the Sound Academy, there is no specific word on what sparked the gunshots or if an individual has been detained. However, we do know that Jeezy is OK and unharmed. The show was shutdown before he even made it to the stage.

Young Jeezy drops a sneak peek for his new video off his new album TM:103: Hustlerz Ambition, “SupaFreak” featuring 2 Chainz. We don’t get to see much, but the full video airs on MTV2 and MTV Jams this Sunday. Check out the sneak peek by G Visuals above before the premiere.

When you think about it, we waited a long time for this Young Jeezy Album. But now that TM103: Hustlerz Ambition released last week, Jeezy official numbers are finally in. Taking the #1 spot in Rap/R&B and 3rd overall behind Michael Buble and Adele moving 232,938 units. A very solid first week debut for the Snowman. Common followed Jeezy entering at No. 18 on the charts, selling 69,000 units.

The chances of TM103 receiving the Detox treatment stand right next to 50 and Ja Rule forming a group together. Sooner or later, the project will see its release. The right single just has to stick first (or at least have another “Lose My Mind” in the vaults) to get the project rolling, which has not exactly been the easiest task as of late. Where “All White Everything” and “Jizzle” failed to make much of an impact, Young fires back this time with his Lil Wayne assisted and Lil’ Lody produced single, “Ballin’.” As a man of his word, the track dropped at exactly 1:03 p.m. and has already began receiving feedback.

Is this the long awaited single from Jeezy’s fourth album? Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. That’s up for you to decide. I want to hear that first Jeezy/Freddie Gibbs collab though. In due time, I assume.

TM 103 has a chance to be one of 2010′s best albums. Jeezy’s three for three with, and the tracks that have been leaked so far have been quality. Next up, “Jealous.” Rather than release the full product and get tons of emails from the label, you can check out a snippet. Produced by Quincy Tones

A lot of times in life a person is forced to make a choice. North Carolina or Duke (UNC). Cowboys or Redskins (Cowboys). LeBron or Kobe (LeBron). McCain or Obama (ok, so maybe that wasn’t exactly much of a choice). Regardless of the entities, picking sides is never the easiest decision.

When Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane erupted on to the scene roughly around the same time some four years ago, I immediately sided with Jeezy simply because I gravitated towards his music easier. Quite frankly, I still do. Yet and still, I’d be foolish to not acknowledge the fact Gucci’s buzz is at a ridiculously high level…eerily mimicking the 2005 Jeezy.

But will this hood love equate to the same mainstream success his cross town rival has managed to garner? Who’s upcoming album will have hte bigger impact? While there is no official way confirm the results before hand, a simple SWOT analysis helps provide more insight on the situation, thus (hopefully) leading to a better decision. Now, if you’ll excuse me, it’s time to put this higher education to good use.
