50 Cent Talks About His Frustration with Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo

In a world where G-Unit once ruled all and the Hip-Hop and Rap scene was dominated by 50 Cent and members Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo, we hear only crickets from the crew as it’s apparent they no longer run tight together. Leaving many guessing as to why it’s gotten to this point, 50 stated last month he hadn’t spoken to Banks in over 9 months. He sat down with Big Boy a couple of days ago to touch on this subject and clear the air on what exactly seems to be the problem. Hit the jump to view the video/audio footage from the on-air interview.

There are different types of people on Twitter. Those who just have fun with it. Those who use it to network. Those who tweet celebrities all day (and actually expect them to respond). Those who use it to stalk people. Those who become philosophers. And, my personal favorite, the Twitter gangster. They’re always fun to keep up with mainly because they have to condense their aggression into 140 characters or less. Can you imagine the frustration that causes? They seem to be Tony Yayo’s favorite too as he took some time out to dedicate a few bars towards them.

Expect to find this on Yayo’s upcoming project, Gun Powder Guru 3.

When they’re not terrorizing conference calls, it looks like 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo are closing deals. The newest one being with EMI.

G-Unit Records has entered into an exclusive agreement with EMI Label Services in which EMI will distribute and promote releases on the G-Unit roster in North America.  EMI will release the Grammy nominated multi-platinum rapper Lloyd Banks’ third solo album “H.F.M. 2” (Hunger For More 2) on November 23rd, 2010, and Tony Yayo’s as yet untitled sophomore album, which is scheduled for early 2011.

G-Unit, formerly with Interscope Records, is joining a growing number of third party labels and artists to ink deals with EMI Label Services.  EMI Label Services’ unique approach gives independent artists and labels creative freedom along with access to the expertise, marketing and promotional muscle of a major label.

Ever since Rick Ross announced Diddy would be his new manager, the Biggie comparisons have been inevitable. Regardless of how logical or asinine as it may sound, Ross has been enjoying a lot of success lately and even had Diddy refer to him as the “Biggie of the South.” High praise coming from a man who was instrumental in Biggie’s success during the short time he was around to make music.

That being said, not everyone is going to latch on to these comparisons. Comparing anyone to legends is a daunting task, but when asking the opinion of a man who once (and apparently still does) had a problem with Ross, reservation is one of the many emotions that are thrown out there. Doggie Diamonds of Forbez DVD recently caught up with Tony Yayo to discuss the topic. A G-Unit member speaking on Rick Ross? Not hard to guess how this ended up.
