Two reining music icons, one being Mariah Carey and the other, Nicki Minaj have hit the media again bumping heads, but is this time a bit worse than before? The show “American Idol” is now down to its final 4 contestants, where both Mariah & Nicki sit on the panel and can’t seem to be in agreement on anything. Shots were fired on the last episode where Mariah Carey indirectly bashed Nicki Minaj’s comments toward the finalists; clearly in intent to stir up some controversy  Nicki Minaj, after the show, took her twitter account and stated Mariah Carey as an insecure 43 year old; and also said that previous judge Jennifer Lopez’s phone is ringing to come back next season. After Nicki Minaj had her one month hiatus from Twitter, YMCMB’s first lady tells her barbz, “Stop with the dramatics!!! Ever since Nicki Minaj ex’d her twitter account, her 11 million followers have been frantically trying to figure out if this was just a temporary hiatus? Recently, Nicki told UK TV host Graham Norton that a “voice inside her head” told her to delete her twitter page.

But after sitting down with Tim Westwood, Nicki told her barbz and the haters what it really was. Not only does she seem adamant about not re-activating her massive twitter account, but she also talks about “leaving the game” all together!

“People aren’t even giving the kid props for taking it back to the essence… This is my fourth mixtape really. You know what I’m saying. The Kid did like that so she could feed her fans. But really, now the Kid is thinking maybe she should leave the game.” – Nicki Minaj

It seems like it was just yesterday when Nicki Minaj proudly took the crown from Eminem as the most followed rapper on Twitter. Those 11 million fans are following one less person today because Nicki deleted her Twitter Account this weekend. She seemed rather upset, sending the following tweets the day before she actually deleted her page,

“And that’s exactly why I’m paying the barbz DUST right now! And deleting my twitter. Smdh - don’t cry 4 me argentina.”/ “On 2nd thought I’ll just follow a new set of barbz. The ones I follow r very mean and ratchet.*side eyes them*.” 

Her frustration obviously reached an all-time high the next day because she told fans, “Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f*cking bye.” Then, the page was gone. However, fans were not pleased with her decision to leave. Soon after her departure, the topic #NickiComeBack began to trend.

Well, if it’s any consolation, we want to see Nicki return to twitter as well so #NickiComeBack.

It’s always interesting to see celebrities hash out their differences on a social network platform, but the most recent war on twitter was against singers The Dream and The Weeknd. The heated discussion was labeled as in R&Beef, which kicked off when the Weeknd heard about The Dreams comments during his tour in New York City at S.O.B’s. The Dream told a sold out crowd, “I haven’t done a show in close to two years. And ever since then, there’s like, four n*ggas that sound like me now. I’m just being honest.” So the weeknd took to Twitter with a straight shot at Terius Nash (The Dreams Twitter) by subtweeting, “Hamburglar lookin’ A$ N***a.”

Once The Dream caught wind of the situation he countered, “Like my father said, ‘say your piece son. If a man feel uncomfortable enough a cheat, and a liar will identify [himself.]‘ Amen. Now I know for sure,” he stated. “I said I was honest not petty. I’m going to support the movement where if you can’t say it in person don’t say it. Nothing but love from here lil’ homie. Don’t get fooled or tricked and try to come up on a N***a like me , won’t work just do you if you truly are then what we talkin about. Now I’m going to leave it at that. “

By this time all the fans and instigators were tuned in on this classic display of R&Beef, so The Dream concluded the war by saying, “Y’all better quit hypin niggas up. [You] can’t beef by yourself. Beef would have to mean insecurity [or] jealousy. Two things I know nothing about, I’m dope!” I’m pretty sure everybody will be paying very close attention to the tweets of both singers.
