8. Kid Cudi – Indicud – 36,000 – Following a few listens, this album personally didn’t do much for me. It’s selling well, so congrats to buddy for that. “Pursuit Of Happiness,” however, is one of the most important life songs of the past decade though. No hyperbole.

A day late, but still not a dollar short.

2. KiD CuDi – Indicud – 136,000 - I’m still trying to decide how I feel about this album. Nevertheless, pushing this in the first week with no real radio/TV push is quite impressive. Or good. Pun sorta-kinda intended.

7. Tyga – Hotel California – 54,000 - I guess he can’t be too mad at these numbers given the fact there’s no real big single blowing up radio.

A little less than a week ago, Tyga dropped off his sophomore album “Hotel California” and is currently out promoting the album. This morning he sat down with the always entertaining trio of The Breakfast Club to discuss the album, first week sales projections, his YMCMB family, Blac Chyna and a lot more. With Hotel California set to drop this week, Tyga gives us visuals for another track from the upcoming album. The Young Money rapper linked up with Wiz Khalifa and Mally Mall for the video to “Molly”. This pill-flooded video has robotic Tyga and women in a rave setting as well as plenty of dancing that will make you really feel like you’re off a molly. “Steal ya Bi***, call it Hijack” chants the hook on this new cut “Hijack” from YMCMB rapper Tyga. The track takes off quicker than you could even keep up with, as Tyga’s lyrical ability has seemingly improved 100% over the last year; where the MC lays some mean bars indicating that he will indeed steal your lady. The new track features the games favorite word player 2 Chainz, who flows very comfortably over the second verse. Check out “Hijack” after the jump!

“Fu** Them Other Ni**s Cuz I’m Down For My Ni**s” opens up the new joint of the day “Hit Em Up”, brought to us by rapper Tyga aka T-Raw. This new rip is a pull from Tyga’s rapidly approaching album “Hotel California” set to release April 9th and features the seasoned gritty MC Jadakiss. An interesting twist of the melodic piano tune of 2Pac’s original ”Hit Em Up” with the west coast “rack city” infamous Tyga hi-hat hit, the track features lyrics from the deceased rapper, in which Tyga makes note that this is not a remix or remake– it’s a complete original. The sample from PAC drops at a point in the third verse of the song, infused with added verses from Tyga & Kiss that let rappers know not mess with the wrong one.
