New freshman artist Tabius Tate hits the digital atmosphere today with the viral release of his “Determination” video. “Determination” is a serious lyrical freestyle cover of the famous track “Ready or Not” by the Fugees that was released in 1996. Assisted by black & white optic visuals, the Determination lyric video shows this new BMF Entertainment signed artist vocalizing the struggle he had coming up as a child and being an under-dog artist straight from Alabama with visions of reaching the peak of his career; Simply in effort to no longer see the ones around him struggle, Determination is the epitome of real lyricism. Mr. So Icey himself, Trap God Gucci Mane does not stay still as the music seems never ending, including visuals as well. Fresh away from all of Gucci’s court drama and sentences, the rap star throws back on all the iced out chains for his new music video release to the track “Guwop”. Featuring new comer MC Trinidad James, the pair floss and boss on the video scene  letting all listeners know that regardless of the circumstances, the Guwop won’t stop coming in. MTVU artist & rising R&B triple threat music sensation Velous has hit back big this week with the release of his creatively dynamic video “Larger Than Life”. The cut is a feature off of Velous’s soon to be released EP entitled “Velocity”, where Velous takes to an artistic dance studio in New York City; accompanied by one beautiful ballet dancer who eloquently structures the movement of her limbs to the piano strokes in Velous’s music. Our very own, the lovely Karen Civil recently sat down with MMG front-runner Meek Mill for an exclusive all access BTS interview. Opening up on tour, fresh on the stage, Meek Mill claims “fu** Reebok” in recognition of their decision to drop MMG President Rick Ross. Meek feels like brands as large as Reebok, take advantage of the popularity of urban culture music, make the money off of the rappers and then drop them when they aren’t worth anything. Another viral video drop from rapper Machine Gun Kelly as he back packs through the journey of his current “Lace Up” tour 2013. This time  MGK is back to pay homage to one of the greater rappers of hip hop’s generations, Eminem. From sitting on a stoop in Detroit, spitting the lyrics to “Lose Yourself” with his fans, to having the audience rap along with him to B-Rabbit’s battle verse in the movie 8 Mile, this video is a must see. The original record “I’m A Coke Boy” by Chinx Drugz Ft. French Montana was one that swarmed both the clubs and the streets; however it became a major hit after MMG’s Rick Ross hopped on it as well as Bad Boy Prez Diddy for the remix. Well all the guys hit today with the video for the remix, compiling all that’s good in rap for one video that features tons of Ciroc, appearances from DJ Khaled and Ace Hood…and wait for it, (a surprising constant feature from Cassie singing “go head baby” on the hook). The soul-singer John Legend recently stopped by Power 105.1′s the “Breakfast Club” to sit down with Charlamagne, Angela Yee and DJ Envy and talks everything new that’s going on within his career. The “Tonight” singer talks about hitting the road on tour with singer Sade (where he says he would never open for anyone else, but it’s SADE); he then goes into detail of his label “Home Grown” and his signing to Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music. John Legend say’s Kanye West no longer makes beats, but is very involved with the details of the labels constant releases. Yesterday at Stage 48 in New York City was the screening of the first episode of Love &  Hop Atlanta Season Two, where most of the original cast was brought back like Mimi, Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez, Erica Dixon and K Michelle. Well the Myxx Fusions sponsored event was an open forum where media and press outlets got to ask the cast members questions that people have always wondered. A question that was directed to Mimi from the gossip site “Bossip.Com” was taken out of context and transferred over to K.
