On the MMG side, we have verses from Gunplay, Stalley, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Wale and a verse from Kendrick Lamar who absolutely destroys it. Sorry if I ruined it for you but it had to be said. Chris Brown and Drake Take Their Beef to a Physical Level

There it is. The evidence that there really was a fight last night a Whip in NYC. But, I wouldn’t really call it a fight, it was more like a bottle altercation. Here’s where it all began. Last night, Teyana Taylor had a party at Whip (which is located below Greenhouse). But when she tweeted, “Headed to greenhouse!! For my celebration!!! Shit gone be crazy!!!” No one knew just how crazy it would get. From Instagram and Twitter, we knew that the celeb attendance rate was high. Wale, Meek Mill, and Trey Songz were all in attendance to show their support. Chris Brown and Karreuche as well and Drake were also in the building. Now lets rewind to the Meek Mill – Chris Brown – Drake sub-tweet battle. The celebs were all sending subliminal messages to one another but the only common thread that they all seem to have in common is Rihanna. Chris Brown pulled Meek Mill off of a song and everything. Well, apparently even though the twitter beef was over, the mental animosity between Drake and Chris still remained. Allegedly, Drake threw up his hands, while surrounded by security, and was motioning as if to say (What’s up?). Chris Brown then responded in a similar manner while also being surround with security guards. From then, the security for both camps then began to fight and then it got a little wild. Drake supposedly threw a bottle that hit Chris in the chin and that left the cut that you see above. The are also rumors swirling around that say once the bottle was thrown, Drake ran into the bathroom. Here’s what the club looked like after all was said and done.

And of course, twitter was there to give us afterthoughts on the fight. Meek took the time to clear his name from any possible accusations and said this.

Chris Brown, on the other hand, had a lot to say.

It sounds to me like Chris wants to duke it out with Drake fair and square. I just wonder how long a beef like this could last. We gave up way to many years of possible collaborations in the years that Nas and Jay-Z were beefing. Please call it quits guys. That bottle cut on the chin could have been a lot worse. This isn’t worth someone being seriously injured.

Below is a picture of Chris Brown’s Security Guard Big Pat at the hospital from the injuries from last night’s altercation.

Instagram: Wale & J. Cole In The Studio #AlbumTime

Last night, Mr. Folarin took to instagram to tweet a picture of him and J. Cole working in the studio. Since Cole’s album is closet in rotation, and Wale tweeted the hashtag #albumtime. I’m thinking we’ll see this collaboration on the sophomore album of the grammy nominated artist J. Cole. Can’t wait to hear what the two put together in the upcoming weeks.

Photo OP: Wale & J.Cole In The Studio

Yesterday evening, Wale took it to his Twitter account to tweet a picture of J.Cole and himself in the studio working. We all know their talents mesh well together as seen in “Beautiful Bliss“, “You Got It“, “Rather Be With You” and more. Hopefully we’ll get the finished product of this sooner than later. Maybe Kendrick Lamar isn’t the only artist J.Cole is working on a joint album with. It will be interesting to see what they’re working up.

New Music: Wale & Meek Mill Featuring French Montana “Actin Up”

Maybach Music Group is on a roll to say the least. And in efforts to ensure that the fans are happy, new music is practically being released every week. A new track every week? MMG is definitely in it to win it. With Self Made vol. 2 on its way June 26th, the first track “Actin’ Up (Deez Hoes)” by Wale and Meek Mill featuring French Montana was released. Meek Mill is on top of the game right now, especially with the success of “Dreamchasers 2.” This track definitely sounds like a summer slam. Listen above and tell us how you feel.
