As if we didn’t like this dynamic father and son duo before in their reenactment of the film “Pursuit of Happiness”, Will Smith & son Jaden Smith are back to hit the big screen once again. Staring in the new movie “After Earth”, Will and Jaden play on the rumored ending of the world or “Apocalypse” and take it 1,000 years into the future dealing with they aftermath. Actress Gabrielle Union celebrated her 40th birthday this weekend and invited a bunch of her closest celebrity friends, including the likes of Actor Will Smith & the “Human Beat Box” Doug E. Fresh. According to TMZ, rapper/actor Will Smith has returned to rap music with a brand new remix to his 1991 hit single “Summertime”. Unfortunately we only get a snippet of the song, which lasts one minute and ten seconds. But the entire song will be available to download on June 11. It will appear on his forthcoming project “Summertime 3,” a new mixtape from DJ Jazzy Jeff and Mick Boogie. Last time we heard an album from Smith and Jazzy J was back in 1993. Happy, albeit belated, birthday to Mick Boogie. The Cleveland-bred, New York established DJ has been pushing the boundaries of what it means to be a DJ for years. He’s dropped incredible, innovative mixtapes, such as his infectious Summertime series with DJ Jazzy Jeff and his Coldplay-Jay-Z mash up, Viva La Hova. He’s handled the ones and twos at events for celebrity giants such as LeBron James, Jay-Z and Will Smith, to name a few. So cheers to you, Boogie. Keep changing the game. I remember going to see the first one in theaters in 1997 (I think that’s the year) and getting the soundtrack. In fact, I even got Big Willy Style for Christmas that year when I begged my mom to get me Puffy’s No Way Out. Turns out BWS wasn’t a bad album and I ended up getting NWO a few weeks later from my cousin. Anywho, play tough guy all you want, but the actual song “Men In Black” was a bonafide smash and yet another accomplishment on the long list for Will Smith; a man who could arguably go down as having one of the greatest professional lives of all time.

That being said, the third – and by all accounts final – installment of the Men In Black series he and Tommy Lee Jones turned into a pop culture staple returns for one last ride next May. While I’m far from a movie critic, and one who is weary of sequels and trilogies, I will be going to see this. Matinee, of course.

The Fresh Prince and his wife are now partial owners of the basketball franchise Philadelphia 76ers. The deal is said to be worth 280 million dollars and the NBA has already approved the sale of the team. The new ownership will include Will Smith, Jada Smith and billionaire Joshua Harris. After 13 years of marriage, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have decided to separate, an insider tells In Touch Weekly exclusively.

The couple met in 1990 when Pinkett-Smith auditioned to be her future husband’s girlfriend on “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.” She didn’t get the role, but the couple became friends and eventually married on New Year’s Eve 1997.

UPDATE:  Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith just released a joint statement SHOOTING DOWN a report that they have separated.

The statement reads, “Although we are reluctant to respond to these types of press reports, the rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false.” The two add, “We are still together, and our marriage is intact.”

Yesterday, Will Smith got a visit in Battery Park from business partner Jay-Z on the set of his third installment of Men In Black.
